Mr. McPuppyPants and the Occasional Knit

That's basically how my week has gone, though I did get quite a lot of knitting done last week. I was in Toronto, and decided to take quite an arsenal of knitting projects with me.

I finished a baby sweater:

I worked on a pair of socks (which I finished last night at my knitting group. Sorry I don't have a picture of two socks. And, if you're curious, the yarn is a somewhat limited edition Woolarina Stripes):

I started a scarf:

I continued knitting a baby jumper that, quite possibly, won't get finished until next spring:

And I missed this little guy:

(I also missed the guy taking care of him while I was away)

The New Man in My Life

For months now, I have felt like something was missing from my life. Sure... I have a good job, great friends, a fantabulous boyfriend... but there was just something that I wanted. And every day, I'd go on the Internet, and I'd peruse the web sites... looking for that something. And this week, I found it.

Meet Marshall.

He is an 8 week-old Maltese and I'm so totally in love with him. Velvet (the cat) isn't 100% (or even 1%) sold on this addition to our lives, but Chris and I are happy as can be with our little puppykins. Right now, he's snuggled up beside me, sleeping. Its the most awesome thing in the world. He met some of the family (Chris's side) tonight, and he'll meet my side tomorrow. Wish me luck in this new endeavor. Its been a while since I've had a puppy and I'm hoping that he grows up to be a very well-behaved, well-adjusted pupster.
