The project ADD continues. I bounce from one to another with no reserve these days. But I'm ok with that. Eventually, things will get done.
I've completed my no-purl . They look pretty good if I do say so myself.

I turned the heel on my first Pomatomus. This is a giant accomplishment for me - who has started this sock, and consequently frogged this sock, no less than seven times. I think I finally know what I'm doing. FYI, I hate knitting a heel flap when I'm using circular needles. I need to call in my reserve dpns to help with the gusset, and it all gets very fiddly. Does anyone else have a solution to this? Am I overthinking the heel flap? Or is this the only way?

I started another Ribbed Baby Jacket (the sweater from my previous post). This time is a boy-ISH sweater. I say "ISH" as I'm not sure how boy-ish it truly will be. The color is right (taupe), the button will be right once I find it, and doggoneit I want it to be boy-ish. But we'll see how it turns out.
I recently finished an item for a swap my knitting group did.

It became a seat cushion/pillow, used for cushioning someone's tushy while at knitting group Wednesday nights. Why a pillow/cushion swap you might ask? A while back, I had a little accident, and my tailbone hasn't been the same since. It was New Year's Eve 8 a.m. (read: pre-pre-drinking), and I slipped as I was walking down my stairs. SLAM! Down on my bum, and boy oh boy was I HURT! I went shopping with some girl friends that day, and I had a really hard time of it. New Year's Eve party wasn't even fun because of the pain in my tailbone. Knitting a few days later was completely out of the question, if I had to sit on a fold out chair. So the idea of the seat cushion swap was born. It took a while to come to fruition, but that's why we're swapping cushions. Because cold, metal, fold-out chairs don't love the hind side - and my hind side don't love them back.
Other than that, I've worked on a few things. I *might* have started seaming up a GIANT project - and I promise to take pictures soon and post them. Right now, its a big ol' mess, but its so gorgeous I can barely contain myself when I look at it. I finished a pair of mittens and received a swap package. I've traveled all over the country and am deliriously happy in love with my boy (in case anyone wondered).
