Things I'm apparently not doing enough of.  I'm actually knitting quite a bit, but never feel like posting if I don't have pictures.  I have no way to download pictures while I'm on the road, and I've been on the road every week this month, not to mention the fact that I have no time at home.  I'm sorry (to those who are keeping track) that I'm not blogging enough.  However, this is supposed to be a hobby, and oh... fun?!  Isn't it?  I'm not feeling the fun...

My Secret Pal spoiled me a bit this week.

In my package I got some Knit Picks Dye Your Own yarn and some Kool Aid with which to dye the yarn.  I also received some yummy smelling body wash and a body pouf, a Magic Towel, a journal with bookmarker, a sock pattern, a nifty looking game, and an Ugly Doll keychain.  I love all of my gifts!  Really, really a great package.  Thank you so much Secret Pal!

I am So.  Very.  Sorry.  I disappeared.  And I didn't really mean to.  Its just that, well... I went through a funk.  My cat died.  I remodeled my house.  I moved into my house.  Then it hit me that I had to unpack.  I also have been travelling like a crazy person.  I've been knitting though, so that's a good sign that my funk was just temporary.  Wanna see what I knit?

OK, so its just one sock, but still.  That's pretty good.  I also finished my sockret pal socks - and received the package from my Sockret Pal.  Sadly, she didn't give me a blog name.  But I love love love love my socks!

You have no idea how beautiful these socks are.  They are the softest socks I've ever felt, too.  Apparently she knit them out of Cherry Tree Hill yarn, and wow.  They are gorgeous.  And the yarn and bag she sent me.  Totally awesome!!!

I also want to share about the new gadget I bought myself ages ago.  A new camera!  It still isn't an SLR like I really want, but it does do some nifty things.

I love the color accent feature on this camera.  I know everyone's seen it before, but I'm still thinking it is super cool.  More gifties to come tomorrow, but I do promise more regular postings.  I'm getting settled into the new house (which I love, by the way) and will have more time for "me" things, like knitting and blogging and reading blogs.  But first, I gotta get me a massage (you'll know why when you see the before and after pictures of the house).
