It Lizard Ridge all the time at this house. Since I bought the house, I feel the need to finish the afghan soon, and I have all the yarn I need so its just a matter of knitting it up. Over the past few weeks I've been a busy square knitter (not as busy as ) and I haven't been very good at sharing. Here's a list of the last nine squares I've knitted. That brings my total to 19. Check out my page to see a complete list of the squares.
Yes, its true. Over the past few months, I've signed up for several swaps. And let me tell you, I've been a lucky girl. First, and foremost, I must thank my Secret Pal, . She has been remarkable, what with her handmade cards and bookmarks (I love them!) and her thoughtful gifts! And her last package was magnificent!!!
In it, there is undyed yarn and Kool-Aid for me to try dyeing my own yarn, a PVC niddy noddy and instructions on how to put it together and use it, Sugar n' Cream yarn, tea and a teacup, some lotion, a candle, and of course, a handmade card and bookmark. There might have been some chocolate in there, too. And I might have eaten it before I took the picture. Thank you so much CJ!!! I have loved everything you sent me!!
Secondly, a person I haven't thanked quite enough, is my Sockret Pal. I still don't know who this mystery knitter is, but I love his/her taste.
In my latest Sockret Pal package, I received lotion from Bath and Body Works, Tea, a honey bear, lovely smelling peppermint soap, Pria bars, Noro Kureyon (for Lizard Ridge, of course), and some Cotton Chenile for more flower washcloths. Thanks so much for the goodies!! I love it all!
And lastly, I have to say a big thank you to my Second Sock Syndrome Swap 2 partner. She sent me a package weeks ago, and I'm just getting around to thanking her. Please forgive me... My socks are fun! And the rest of the gifts are marvelous! I love the colors of the yarn, and the soap smells so good!
Thanks to all of my wonderful swappy partners! I really appreciate everything!!!
I'll bet you all are wondering what in the world happened to those pictures I promised. Well, here they are!
ETA: Yes, this is my house. I should close on the first of March and take possession later in the month. The stuff in the house... not my stuff. And any pictures of people... not me.
